Each animated film creation is a technical adventure. From using stop-motion software to handling the camera, sculpting figurines to bring them to life, the process of making an animated film is filled with joyful challenges and technical and technological learning experiences.
Teamwork is key!
A film comes to life through teamwork: the storyline, characters, set design, and editing all require collaboration. The skills developed as a team are numerous, including trust, coordination, adaptation, listening, and communication, to name just a few.
As you can see, SOMANIMATION is a unique space where ideas come to life, whether on a human-sized scale on the large white cyclo or in miniature in our stop-motion installations.
Our SOMANIMATION workshops take place during more in-depth sessions, such as during camps, and kick off during extracurricular activities.
